Children's Work

Here are some stories written by the children. We did a lot of talking together and planning of our story along the format of another story called "3 Wishes". They were aloud to change the characters and the situations, but they had to follow the same pattern of events. These children did this very well and used some great language features to enhance their writing. I hope you enjoy them and can leave some nice feedback.

Well here it is!!! Hot off the press, here are some of the finished re-written "Jack and the Beanstalk" stories. We have worked very hard on these stories. They are based on the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, but we have changed a few things. We have written them according to the way we want you to read them as we have learnt a few tricks about reading with expression this term. So here are our stories. We hope you enjoy reading them as much as we have enjoyed writing them.

BIG thanks to Hannah's Mum (Julie) for typing out our stories! :-)

What a neat story Stephen! I hope you enjoyed thinking it up. You must be reading a lot of books, because that's the best way to learn how to write stories. Best wishes to you and everyone in your class.

This blog-site is really great!

Who would have guessed that a Dolphin in the garden and a giant dafodil would be such a money spinner Isla!

Awesome job to you and the rest of the class on the great stories. Keep them coming.

cheers,

What great writing Alcove 4 (or should I call you Room 5 now?). I really like how you used exclamation marks and bold face to show us how your characters were speaking.
Keep up the good work.
